Richard has extensive experience in the music industry, as a performer, songwriter and executive. Following a music degree at The City University and Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Richard began his career playing keyboards in The Company She Keeps. Signed to Cold Harbour records, the band produced singles, albums and toured extensively. He then moved into record production and composition for TV commercials before joining Zomba Music Publishers to run their film & TV division, working with some of their largest pop acts (Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, R.Kelly). An advertising opportunity led to the creation of Leap Music with ad agency BBH, and Richard now runs his own consultancy Resilient Music. |
